We are an Afro-futuristic Theater Piece about America in the year 2097, being ruled by 3 fierce African American female survivors of a worldwide cataclysm presented as a dark comedy. We have projections, original animations, and a talented cast actors. These women face a death-dealing battle over love, power, and fried chicken as they ponder the mysterious whereabouts of the Last Black Man on Earth. Malik Yoba appears via projection as male-female fusion of God named, "Oprah Obama Omama." Our piece uses stark symbols, dark comedy, and surrealism to deal with themes of racial disparity, afro-feminism, death, and loneliness. It's a world of flying hair weave, deletions, as well as poignant exploration of W.E. Dubois' "Talented Tenth" theory, and Ralph Ellison's 'The Invisible Man."
